Analytics Dashboard

The Alice T&S Analytics Dashboard enables you to monitor and audit moderation activity and platform policy violations. It provides an at-a-glance view of moderator’s decisions and performance, as well as the violation of items on your platform.

Hovering over various areas of the charts may display additional tooltips of information.

Filters​

Various filters are provided across the top of the dashboard that you can apply to the information that is displayed. All the information displayed in the Analytics Dashboard is within the timeframe selected in these filters –

  • All Types – Enables you to select one or more of the Entity Types to appear in the dashboard – Collections, Content and/or Users. By default, all are shown.

  • Violation – Enables you to select one or more of the Violation Types to appear in the dashboard, such as Privacy Violation, Spam or Fraud, Self-Harm and so on. By default, all are shown.

  • Timeframe – Select the timeframe that is shown, such as the Past month, Past Week and so on.

You can click the Clear all filters option on the top right to redisplay all data.

Dashboard Overview​

The following information is provided across the top of the dashboard –

  • Items handled – Specifies how many items were handled by all the moderators in the T&S platform.

  • Avg. Items / Moderator – Specifies the average quantity of items about which moderators made decisions.

  • Median Time to Handle – Specifies the median time for a moderator to make a decision about an item that was sent to the T&S platform.

  • Pending Moderation – Specifies the quantity of items in the T&S platform that are waiting for a decision to be made.

Items Handled Over Time​

  • Handled items – By default, the graph shows the quantity of items about which decisions were made over time.

  • Handling time – Shows the average amount of time it takes to make a decision about an item sent to the T&S platform over time.

Actions are color-coded according to whether they were performed manually by someone who clicked a button in a Moderation View or automatically by an Automated Workflow.

Top Language Breakdown​

Shows the breakdown of languages of the content handled by the T&S platform.

Moderator Efficiency​

Shows the quantity of decisions made by each moderator, as well as the percentage of the decisions made by each moderator out of all the decisions that were made in the T&S platform.

Efficiency Breakdown​

Shows the efficiency of each Moderation View per Violation Type. Presents a table in which each row represents a Violation Type and each column represents a Moderation View.

By default, this table shows the quantity of Pending items, meaning the number of items waiting to be handled in each Moderation View, per Violation Type.

Selecting the Median waiting time tab in the top right corner shows the median quantity of minutes that items wait in each Moderation View for a decision, per Violation Type.

Note – An item may have multiple Violation Types and therefore appear in multiple Moderation Views. This means that an item may be represented in this table more than once. When a decision is made about an item, that decision applies to all Moderation Views.
