These options are displayed for users that have been given permission by the administrator.

  • MODERATION – Lists the Moderation Views. Clicking one of these views enables you to moderate the items that are routed there by the T&S platform. A Moderation View shows items that have been routed to the Alice T&S platform (such as suspected, enforced, dismissed and pending review items) along with their full context and enables you to take immediate action to handle them. You may refer to the Alice Moderators User Guide for a description of how to Moderate items – Coming Soon. The items that appear in each Moderation View are defined using the View Configuration and the Automated Workflows options in the T&S platform.

  • T&S INTELLIGENCE – Provides access to the intelligence reports sent by the Alice team and enables you to ask an intelligence expert about content-related issues, as well as to review and chat about their responses in the T&S platform. See T&S Intelligence for more information. This module also includes the T&S platform's Analytics Dashboard, which enables you to monitor the performance and accuracy of the moderation activities on your Alice T&S platform.

  • WORKFLOWS – Enables you to create, deploy and manage no-code Automated Workflows that automate your trust & safety policies and enforcement mechanisms. See Automating T&S Policies for more information.

  • DATA MANAGEMENT – Provides a variety of integration options for setting up data flows between your platform and the T&S platform, as described in the Alice Integration and API Guide. These tasks are typically performed by an integrator or programmer before a T&S manager starts using the Alice T&S platform.

  • MODERATION CAPABILITIES – Provides various options for setting up moderation in the T&S platform. These tasks are typically performed by a T&S manager and are described throughout this user guide, as follows –

    • Action Management – Enables you to define actions that can be triggered by moderators in a Moderation View or by an Automated Workflow, such as to report to a third-party application, remove a user and so on. See Action Management for more details.

    • View Configuration – Enables you to define Moderation Views, including the types of items to appear in each view and the data about each item that will be displayed. You can define various Moderation Views according to your organization’s needs. The most common strategies are based on Violation Categories, languages, moderator expertise, priority or internal review flow. See View Configuration for more details.

    • Action Mapping – Enables you to define which action buttons will be available for moderators to click in each Moderation View. See Action Mapping for more details.

    • Custom Fields – Enables you to define additional data fields to appear and be handled in the T&S platform. For example, a social trading platform that wants to see the quantity of transactions a user performed before making a moderation decision about his/her content.

      • Collected Custom Fields are populated by the T&S platform via API or uploaded file and cannot be entered/edited by moderators in a Moderation View.

      • Editable Custom Fields can be populated via API or uploaded file and can also be entered/edited by moderators in a Moderation View. See Custom Fields for more information.

  • USERS – Enables you to define the users that can log in to the T&S platform and assign them each a role (as described below).

  • ROLES AND PERMISSIONS – Enables you to define roles that can be assigned to Users (as described above). Each role represents a set of permissions to the functions of the T&S platform and to its Moderation Views. The role that you assign to a user determines the functionality that each user can access in the T&S platform, as well as the Moderation Views that they can work in. See Roles and Permissions for more information.
