Usage & Plan

Usage & Plan gives administrators self-service visibility into how much of the plan has been consumed, without having to ask Alice. Open it from Account Settings → Usage & Plan.

The consumption figures cover the project you are currently in. The plan and its credit allowance are account-wide, shared with every other project in the account, so the share reported on the Credits used card is this project's share of the whole account's allowance. To see another project's consumption, switch project.

Note: Usage & Plan is being rolled out gradually and may not yet appear under Account Settings for your workspace.

Two filters at the top of the page apply to every figure on it: a media type (text, image or audio — leave it empty for all of them) and one or more applications (leave it empty for all of them). With a single application selected, the per-application breakdown is hidden, since it would only repeat the figures above it.

The page shows:

  • Plan — The account's plan tier.
  • Contract end date — When the contract ends, or Open-ended if it has no end date.
  • Credits used — Credits this project consumed against the account's allowance, as a progress bar with the share used.
  • Guardrails credits used and Red Teaming credits used — Credits consumed per product. Credits are a single account-wide allowance rather than one per product, so these are counts only, measured against the combined allowance above.
  • Monthly consumption — A bar chart of credits consumed per calendar month for each product, so you can spot trends and month-over-month spikes or drops. Only covers months usage tracking reaches back to; a month marked with an asterisk is partial.
  • Usage by application — Credits broken down per application, highest first, so you can identify which application or department drives the majority of consumption. Applications beyond the top few are grouped into a single Other applications row.

Consumption figures come from a rollup that refreshes in batches, so they always lag slightly; the page states when the data was last updated beneath the breakdown, and flags it when that is more than two days ago. For a contractual figure, contact your Alice representative.
